About the Program

Shaw Bears Volleyball

Shaw University Women's Volleyball competes in the CIAA in NCAA Division II, playing home matches at C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Led by head coach Jailynn Hunt, the Bears open the 2026 season on August 15 and battle through conference play toward the CIAA Championship, November 9–11 in Rocky Mount.

Founded in 1865, Shaw University is the oldest HBCU in the South — and this store outfits the players, families, and fans who carry that legacy onto the court. Gear up, Bears.
